Meet Maui Waui, a sun-bright sativa with a legendary Hawaiian spirit. Expect sweet tropical flavor, vivid citrus aroma, and an uplifting, creative experience that brings fresh energy to the day.
Our breeders preserve the character of Hawaiian Sativa IBL, a celebrated landrace lineage rooted in the islands. This feminized variety leans 80% sativa and 20% indica, carrying forward the tall growth, narrow leaves, and lively character of its tropical heritage.
Crack open the jar and let pineapple, lemon, and sweet citrus fill the air. A gentle woody note adds depth beneath the juicy tropical fragrance, creating a smooth, bright flavor that lingers.
With THC levels of 14% to 19%, Maui Waui delivers a cheerful, focused lift with a creative edge. Its effects feel energetic and clear, making it a popular daytime choice for social moments, artistic projects, or a welcome reset when fatigue and stress weigh on the mood.
Terpinolene leads with fruity citrus, while alpha- and beta-pinene bring a crisp, fresh edge. Caryophyllene and humulene add warm spice and earth, and linalool, myrcene, and caryophyllene oxide round out the profile with floral, herbal, and woody notes. This lively blend suits growers seeking aromatic flowers with a bright, expressive character.
These feminized seeds produce female plants and flower in about 8 to 10 weeks. Maui Waui is beginner-friendly, and every Grassfarmer order comes with a germination guarantee to help you start with confidence.
In early growth, give this vigorous sativa room to stretch and plenty of light. It can reach around 6.56 feet, or 2 metres, so plan your space before flowering begins. Indoors, a Screen of Green setup helps guide the canopy and distribute light evenly.
Maui Waui thrives in warm, sunny conditions that echo its tropical roots. Aim for steady airflow and comfortable warmth, and adjust humidity as the plants mature. Its sturdy main stem supports branching growth, while consistent care and appropriately balanced feeding encourage resinous flowers.
Flowering takes 8 to 10 weeks, with outdoor harvest typically arriving in October. Expect medium yields, around 350 to 450 g/m² indoors and 800 to 1,200 g per plant outdoors in favorable conditions. Long, resin-coated buds showcase the bright aroma and crystalline finish this classic is known for.
