Meet Orka, a bright, mostly sativa hybrid bred for upbeat sessions and bold citrus character. Haze energy meets White Widow resin in a vigorous plant with a lively 60% sativa, 40% indica profile. Expect happy, relaxed, talkative effects and a THC range of 20–22%.
Our breeders brought together Haze and White Widow in Europe in the early 2000s. The result balances Haze’s uplifting, cerebral character with White Widow’s grounding physical ease. Orka carries classic sativa influence in a sturdy, resin-rich hybrid.
Fresh citrus and lemon lead the aroma, followed by spicy incense, cedar, and a tart, earthy finish. Its smooth smoke carries a vivid flavor that lingers well beyond the first inhale.
Orka’s effects bring a cheerful lift, an easygoing sense of relaxation, and a sociable edge. Many enthusiasts choose it for daytime sessions, conversation, or creative projects. Effects vary from person to person, so start low and go slowly.
Caryophyllene, humulene, and myrcene shape Orka’s terpene character, adding warm spice, earthy depth, and a rounded finish to its citrus notes. The heavily frosted buds also make this variety appealing to growers interested in resin-rich harvests and extracts.
These feminized seeds produce female plants, with germination guaranteed. Orka is a photoperiod variety with an 8–10 week flowering period. It’s listed as beginner-friendly, giving first-time growers a rewarding option to explore.
In early growth, give Orka a clean start, consistent care, and room to develop its branching frame. A ScrOG setup can help create an even canopy and bring lower flowering sites into the light. Indoors or outdoors, steady conditions support vigorous growth.
Orka can reach around 9.84 feet (3 m), so plan for its height and generous vertical space. It thrives in warm, tropical-style conditions and benefits from good airflow, well-drained growing media, and ample sunlight. Keep an eye out for pests throughout the cycle.
As flowering progresses, Orka forms dense, grape-shaped buds in neon green with deep golden hues. Its heavy trichome coverage gives mature flowers a bright, crystalline look. Expect high yields: 500–600 g/m² indoors or 600–700 g per outdoor plant, with outdoor harvest typically arriving in October.
